Imagine having thousands of endpoints and having to visit every single one of them to boot into a recovery environment and manually delete a file. That is the fix for this Windows / CrowdStrike BSOD issue. End users will not do this. This will be fixed by low level techs doing grunt work. It's going to be a long weekend for them in the trenches. I wish them all the best of luck and a cold beer when they get home.

Our IT guy is going to be so overwhelmed

There are several extra steps and headaches if the system is protected with bitlocker as well

Oh yeah... I hadn't thought of Bitlocker systems. Hopefully people have local copies of keys and don't just have them stored in Azure / AD.
