What are some common reasons that a #BitAxe would just quit hashing? Just took a look at mine and noticed it flatlined. Looking at my pool page, it just stopped early AM. A reboot got it back to hashing but just curious what the root cause could be.

probably the driver, but possibly the firmware

i seem to recall a similar issue someone talked about awhile back and i suggested using a power timer to turn the device off as a way to hard reset it if it was blanking out after some number of days and then just crashing

Hashed with zero issues for nearly 3 days and then it happened again early this morning. No power or network issues on the ole LAN as all other machine logs look kosher.

#bitaxe #mining #bitcoin

a mechanical timer power switch would work too, at the cost of 15 minutes a day
