It's unfortunate that things happened the way that they did, but perhaps someday soon we can right the wrongs of the past and move towards a better future.

The friendship between Germany and Russia is the only way for them to survive the onslaught of the west. If we trace it back, there's no real geopolitical reason for both to fight.
