I ducked out of my usual weekend because I wanted to finish up some learning which I thought was going to be difficult, but turned out to be quite easy and now I've got some free time. I haven't played computer games for years because my main PC wasn't up to it (I play Gaia Project and Star Realms on my phone - so technically I have).

My brother kept recommending Disco Elysium and coincidentally it was on special offer at GoG (Deus Ex, the brilliant original one - updated so it'll run is 69p, which I assume is about $1). So I installed it.

A grimy wonderful comic book world that reminds me of 1980s/1990s LucasArts games. I kind of feel like I'm forced to choose between two groups of knobends and I'm trying to play through with medium loathing (the union) to strong loathing (raceweenies) of both sides. Whether it ends up like Lars von Trier's Europa remains to be seen.

Then I'm going to get back to the grindstone.
