I read it, but don’t get how Bitcoin and Nostr help the artist monetize themselves.
I think what he’s saying and correct me if I’m wrong….
Is that even though it may take a lot of time and or money to create content now, it will be worth it big in the future pretty much forever or the rest of your life potentially you could keep receiving zaps/ sats bc as more and more new people see it every year you keep getting money for that same thing from different people????
Or did I mis interpret?
Imagine a minstrel singing in a pub. The guy probably get some free drinks, maybe food.
Maybe someone invites him to the next event. Maybe he can live off some rich spoiled lady for some time.
He makes a living by his social network.
The problem with (some) digital art is that it can't take physical form. How do you monetize something like that?
The very same way. You get sponsors that want you to keep running. That's what v4v and nostr can do ...

“Billboard” so just like ads for placement 10 or so notes in. one billboard note that is gaining traction the top zap get to add their quote. Pretty much have already just it would be a highlighted note.
