Statists gonna state
One way to look it is that some forms statism takes are worse than others. A statism without an income tax would be "less worse", so while still not ideal, I would welcome the abolition of income tax.
Of COURSE most people would want to do that, but also END THE FED (among other things). However, abolition of income tax would undoubtedly not last past the administration who set it.
Bottom line, the state cannot be trusted.
Govt fails (and will continue to fail) to solve the problems we have in our country. Period.
Creating our own solutions is the way.
