I was just watching a male cardinal perch on a piece of child's playground climbing equipment. Another male cardinal flew in to bully the first off his perch. And then a third flew in. It's another conclave of cardinals (who don't play well with others).

I regularly see a single male and two or three female Cardinals in my backyard, but there's about six or seven Blue Jays I see on the regular and they're constantly bullying each other and the other birds. WILD birds are cool. Especially corvids.

You taught me a new word today: corvids. Never knew it was the crow family. They're clever birds for sure.
