I know you said quick and dirty, but... If you can use stuff (rocks, dirt piles) to provide some space under the panels to get air moving, they will convective cool and perform significantly (not a huge amount, but demonstrably) better and last longer due to lower peak temperatures on the cells in the panels.
Good point. I am planning to build mounts that lift them off the ground soon. The system will be more efficient when they are all on the same exact plane as well.
