Pretty sure most of the "monero whores" are far richer than any of the zealot maxis, since they got into Monero many years ago precisely because of the flaws in Bitcoin privacy, well before most of those maxis got into Bitcoin and turned it into a religion.

Bitcoin maxis are often so close-minded they don't seem to understand this simple fact: #monero people were (and still are) Bitcoiners from a time where most of the zealot bitcoin maxis of today didn't even know about Bitcoin, or had not yet embraced it.

This means that the BTC hodlings of the 'monero whores' ironically tend to be several orders of magnitude higher.

Not that we care per se, but it is interesting to note the attack is always the same: HFSP.

All they care about is NGU. And they say this to people who, in general, are far wealthier than them.

Dogma makes them stupid.

10+ years ago nobody understood why we bought Bitcoin because people did not know money is backed by nothing and inflation eats your lunch.

Now the same people who did not get it 10+ years ago are Bitcoin Maxis and do not understand why we move to Monero.

Bitcoin Maxi is just another term for low iq sheep. They need something to follow, can not reason on their own.

Not good for BTC.

Correct!

Ouch! Feel the burn.

As a Bitcoiners myself for 15 years I approve this message. I am not in this for NGU. That happened 2010-2013 as foreseen.

I am in this to change the world. Since day one.

Monero is undoubtedly a better medium of exchange and a better store of value as seen during the last bear market and also the last downturn.

Bitcoin is a great speculative investment. Use it as such to increase your purchasing power.

Once you control sufficiently enough wealth you'll discover why offshore banks are such a huge thing in the fiat world.

Monero is a perfect off shore account, maybe the best we've ever seen. It's a private store of value for your fiat and Bitcoin gains alike.

Stupid, who doesn't use it.

I love it when "humble" Bitcoiners show us that they're anything but humble.

The word humility of not being used simply, but instead as a warning against using leverage or being "greedy" and trading alts. Not bad advice. But not humility either.

This has always irked me as those using the word this way are quite proud to do so.

Are you so sure? What reinforces marketability of media of exchange? How are one or a few selected as the most prevalent and most widely accepted? Is not the immense scarcity and wide recognition of such a major part of that?

The fact that his screen name is cypherpunk and he is hating on Monero just shows he's LARPing as a cypherpunk. I love BTC and always will but the reason BTC pivoted from digital cash to digital gold is because of its lack of privacy and fungibility. XMR is keeping the original dream of BTC and the real cypherpunks alive.
