Are there any Nostriches who were raised in a Matchmaking culture? Found their partner/spouse via an intentional arrangement process?

I’m watching a docuseries about the topic and I love the intentionality that’s going into meeting families up front and essentially being like: we’re here to end game this.

Am I alone in that? 💞💞

I grew up in that culture but it’s slowly dying down in both my home country as well as my community here, except in more conservative households.

I think the concept, in theory, is beautiful and would be honored to find my partner that way but my mom told me to go find someone myself because she doesn’t know any families with decent sons 🙃
