Are you guys hearing a lot about this ‘Apeel’ stuff funded by the Bill Gates Foundation?

Anything with the ‘Bill Gates’ name near it and my senses go on high alert.

It is some sort of invisible coating now approved for use on fresh fruit and vegetables in Australia…edible coating made from mono and diglycerides (derived from soy, canola, or palm oils) to be more precise.

There is no mandatory labelling

No long term safety studies on gut health

Banned in certified organic supply chains in Australia but I have not verified this…
