Yo Bitcoiners, prepare.

If you think we are just going to sail in the sunset rich and happy as Bitcoin moons, be not mistaken. If and when the value of our stack explodes upwards, trials and temptations will push us to the breaking point. Governments, jealous friends and family, and thieves of all sorts will be grasping for your wealth and freedom. Our own ugly fears, greed, pride and temptations will come bubbling to the surface. The whiplash may be devastating if the seatbelt isn’t firmly strapped on.

Prepare now. Give money to good causes now. Reinforce your marriage now. Commit your finances to the creator God now who gives and takes away.

Be content with little and if your stack is taken, you will not be poor.

Been thinking about this a lot. Don’t want to be a slave to money but also want to leave my family financially taken care of for when my time comes.

Yeah, that’s my goal as well. Financial freedom is awesome but it’s only a means to an end, trying to live a fully purposeful life. This is why I intentionally don’t buy Bitcoin with all my money. Giving now and spending on loved ones reminds me that I’m not just living for some future goal. My life should be fully lived now. Thankfully, we probably don’t need to live miserly on 10% of our income to get ahead. Even 1BTC should set people up, at *least* decently, in 10-20 years.

My giving philosophy is to give until it hurts.

Good conversation is worth more than sats. My private key was accidentally leaked so I have to migrate accounts before I mess with zaps. Haha Just been too preoccupied with other things.
