As a person i ptobably wouldn't go drinking with him, and think he's a bit of a twat.

Dosen't mean he's wrong about anything.

Yeah I don't think he's wrong because he's a twat I think, he's a twat and he's wrong. On some other things. I'm particularly thinking of his championing of Israel.

To be honset i don't care about his stance on Israel.

It's not something i have any control over.

True. I have no idea why he pipes up about it. I mostly don't think he's worth thinking about at all, actually. Not really an interesting figure or perspectives.
