Now, I'll preface this by saying that Anglin, the author, is generally good. At the very least, he's one of the small handful of people that the regime has gone out of its way, personally, to silence, and his articles are written with the aim of informing rather than self-promotion. He has a number of weird beliefs that I disagree with, but he states his genuine beliefs without trying to disguise them, which is sadly better than pretty much anyone else with a platform.
That said, the sentiment in pic related is retarded. People aren't standing up for the same reason you aren't - it wouldn't do anything. If you could coordinate everyone at once to stand up, sure, that would work, but barring that, all you'd be doing is giving the regime a free target to make an example of at their leisure. Revolution against a hated government like this one is a coordination problem - it is actively being solved, people are figuring out what does and does not work, but it is not a simple yes-no operation where you can muster a little personal bravery and have it make a meaningful impact. The immediate, impactful things that you can do are finding like-minded people in person and making friends with them, and making sure that you personally are physically fit and know how to do whatever you believe will need to be done in the future.
