It's amazing to me that I've had printers for a quarter of a century and they haven't improved at all. They're exactly the same annoying, unreliable, unexplainable devices. Printers are the devils work ๐
Dude, Seriously!
GD. I'm done with this thing & it's only 4yrs old. Nothing but troubles since day one.
I bought a Canon all in one tank printer to discover that it just won't talk with apple computers. There's no driver. You can do basic printing with generic drivers but can't scan or anything. Couple hundred bucks wasted ๐
Printers are a shitcoin.
Daniel is a Bitcoin chad
haha. They truthfully might be worse?
I still have an old Canon B&W laser printer scanner combo. The lid is broken but it still mostly works, and I have no intention of replacing it anytime soon. I miss the days of having an office where I could just print whatever I wanted on the color laser after-hours and nobody would ever find out. Now if I ever need anything printed in bulk I just pay to send it out, or ask someone I know to do me a favor.
Printers are a great example of technologies that have only gotten worse since they were affordable available for everyone. My first one was so easy to use. Never fussed about ink or issues on the network.
That's brutal. Can you at least Wi-Fi connect to print off your phone?
They improved a lot on commercial revenue: High margin consumables, planned obsolescence to trigger repeat capital spends.
