Have you ever planted potatoes/ carrots from supermarket? I did it when i was a kid (it was ok I guess). I suspect they do some processing nowadays. How was your experience?

What about those from farmers' market?

You can for sure, but it really depends on the variety.

Why not grow from seeds? There are many sources of good seeds available.

I have a very small space. I don't want to buy 5lb of seed potatoes 😄

Sweet potatoes yes. You have to buy the organic ones. The regular ones are sprayed with something that keeps them from sprouting during transport to the grocery store

I heard they do some radiation treatment 🥵

I think in some places they do on fruit and greens to kill germs and make them last longer. Root vegetables it would just be a waste of money to do that

Not agreeable all around for me.

You will likely be fine with most of them. They all end up growing here 🙂
