Some won’t but I imagine some will and these things use all the cell towers/companies so if some are down these radios still work.
If it all goes down then you shit outta luck.
Ham is still the goal but these appear to be an awesome backup.
It's the same as your regular phone, both wont work in a real emergency (outage/storm/similar)
