Starting Saturday, #Alaska will witness an artificial airglow in the sky created by the #HAARP research program. Scientists from various universities will conduct #experiments to investigate #ionosphere mechanisms and the use of #plasma waves for satellite collision detection. The airglow will be visible up to 300 miles from the HAARP facility, appearing as a faint red or green patch.
