Have you tried Highlighters notes feed? It's pretty fast in my use. https://highlighter.com/home/notes/
It shows stuff quickly, but it seems like a random selection of notes, rather than my feed. I think they haven't set up relay management, yet.
And to much imagery and distraction. Don't want media automatically downloaded.
Lume is quite decent.
Is it very simple? Even Nostter is getting too complicated.

TBH, my favorite clients right now are Algia and GitWorkshop. I can just read and write. Such a friggin relief.
