It can't possibly be any worse. Even good teachers have the impossible task of teaching multiple kids who all understand and learn differently to move at the same pace for years and years as they erode through the system. Combine this with children's anti-social behavior, parent politics, office politics, district politics, state politics, national politics, and a univerdal egalitarian neuroticism around education the teacher must navigate.
