I use Simplex & am in a group where the developers are where we discuss ways of improving the app. One of the big questions circling from other opinionated people like myself is revenue to sustain the project. These people keep suggesting limit features & lock em behind paywalls. I purpose doing what we already do here on Nostr which is to take sats as payment & Simplex build their own blockchain so they can collect the transaction fee.

I also purposed that other payment gateways be avaliable like btc on the original blockchain, xmr, eth, & cashu. That anyone of these can be put on anyones message because they feel like it. Then on the "knocking" feature where the admin must approve the user in order for them to enter the group to create that you can charge on the member admission. The user would pay the owner's wallet & then get entry just like how people do who still use usenet instead of a monthly subscription it's a one time fee.

I don't understand why the people there are against it half of them don't even use Nostr. Could you comment below & let me know what you think about this? I want to screenshot the comments & show them in chat that more people would support sending payments directly to each other on messages. Instead of limiting features behind paywalls to unlock them.
