Saw a guy yank his dog multiple times while on a walk because the dog is pulling and yelling at it “stop pulling”.
Dog was clearly some sort of pit mix too. Just asking for trouble eventually.

Probably, but it would have the same effect as the dog being yanked. That person needs to be trained.

Some people just aren't compatible with dogs. And some dogs aren't compatible with humans.
I wouldn't get involved.
I recently saw a poor man go off on his child in the grocery store and wondered the same thing
