The harp is a timeless symbol reaching in antiquity. Guinness didn't get it, it was just there.

It’s a bitten Apple not an Apple. When you see Apple logo anywhere you get fruits! When you see bitten Apple, mac products. At least Guinness didn’t break the Harp. So no I didn’t ask about Apple.
