How funny. In the Netherlands they have been heavily subsidising heatpumps, and make statements that everybody should have a heatpump asap and should get off natural gas before 2030 because of the ESG and Green Deals and carbon footprint.
So much subsidy has been thrown around and now a rapport has appeared that the actual production of those same heatpumps don’t appear to be so ‘green’ after all.
Gotta love governments pushing agenda’s… First push and subsidise and then start thinking. 💭

Saw the same in UK: big gov push to subsidise diesel for efficiency before backtracking after they realised the impact on air quality; big gov push to subsidise CFL bulbs before backtracking after they realised the mercury pollution and competition from LEDs, etc, etc.
Gov is rubbish at picking winners, but never seems to learn.
Government is very bad about picking winners & lovers - whether companies or tech
It’s mainly because they don’t have to think twice or even three times before throwing with money like we plebs have to do.
Bitcoin will make them humble again, but it will probably get way worse before that…
By far the easiest and fastest way towards hyperbitcoinization is not to fight governments and banks but in stead let them lie, twist, spin, fraud, make fuckup after fuckup.
The only thing what we have to do is enjoy life and ask our follow human no-coiners... why aren't you enjoying yourself? Never heard of Bitcoin? And then step back.
