It's like (on other platforms, haven't tried it here yet) whenever I've put tentative feelers out to see if other teetotallers want to share non-alcoholic drink recommendations or just to see if I can find other teetotallers, and all the drinkers decide they need to tell me how much they drink. Why are people like this 😟

I think people just can't help wanting to talk about themselves, and when they see a topic that's not for them, they just breeze past it and try to make it about them, without thinking about how it sounds on the other end.
