I actually run plasma on debian on my home office cpu, but that's because it's an arm. Arch on arm has never been satisfactory to me. But if it's an x86 desktop plasma on arch or manjaro is my go to. I use manjaro on all my office cpus, but that's mainly because they have a one line chroot if it borks. I'm not there to fix computers.
