I noticed some of my replies have been removed, specifically ones replying to people posting their #shitcoin platform marketing on here. It wouldn't surprise me to hear I've been blocked by people.

That would be fine except that anyone can spin up any number of Nostr accounts and spam the system while reporting and blocking valid users.

I don't yet see how this is being overcome, other than each user having to own a brain and doing due diligence.

Watch out for posts about a "new" platform and phrases like "Our mission" and "We set out to...". Watch out even if they say #Bitcoin or #lightning.

...They probably also have the word "token" in there...

This is most likely a relay selection or connectivity issue on your end.

I’m not aware of any clients who block or mute posts - unless 3 or more people you follow have reported them, or you blocked or muted them yourself.

If they really are spam events, it’s possible relay operators have a spam filter that takes a few messages to trigger, but removes the previous messages as a cleanup.
