American servers are not subject to European laws. You can host your own nostr relay in the United States and ignore all European censorship requests. Just like Gab does. And people will. It will have no effect unless every country does it.
What about the legal issues? What happens when the #UK goes after #NOSTR for content that you create?

They can't go after Nostr. Nostr has no CEO and is open-source.

If you are not in the UK you are not subject to UK laws. If you are in the UK you should use a vpn or move to a free country.
