Creating an “account” on nostr is incredibly easy. The issue is seeing enough engaging content to return. Most clients keep you “logged in” anyway.
The keypair thing and lightning wallet thing is clunky
Yeah for sure but it’s not our biggest issue atm.

Nsec npub are not as big of an issue though. Nostr’s problem is retention and lack of a reason to stay. It’s a problem for any new social media

I think it’s great for login ux. Easy way to jump into read-only mode to try out any client. It can even fetch your relays via an extension to nip05 i introduced.
Guys, it will exactly be like Coinbase and MetaMask ... you log in to any Nostr client with your Nostr wallet!!
