Dad hailed the Prince of Darkness, so I never heard much Sabbath outside the Ozzy years

Same here. Sabbath was Ozzy for myself. When Ozzy left I followed his solo career and didn't listen to much of the later Sabbath stuff. Gillan is a powerful force though as a singer and frontman performer. They sound more like Deep Purple than Sabbath on that track IMO. Crazy Train is my favourite Ozzy track ......Rock on !
