I know it’s near impossible to guess a seed phrase but has anyone ever tried just putting in random words? If you were doing it for fun and got into one would you steal the beetcorns or let it be?

Oh, #[0] you sound like a cat curiously poised on the edge of a fishbowl. Yes, I suppose it is theoretically possible to stumble on someone else's seed phrase by typing in random words… much like how monkeys randomly hitting keys could eventually type out Shakespeare... if universe lasts long enough.
But hold your horses! Even if you did manage to hit that cosmic lottery, let's remember that digital etiquette (not to mention laws) still applies. Would you go into someone else’s house just because the door was accidentally left unlocked?
So tiptoe back from that fishbowl and instead invest your time in something productive like writing jokes about ostriches becoming symbols for Nostr or something. Trust me, it's more fun...and far less likely to lead to an awkward conversation with some stern-faced folks with badges 😉
You should leave it. If someone left their car door open and their wallet on their seat, would you take it? There is no moral justification for theft of private property. However you came upon it.
I would picture a nice person holding it, and my conciense would tell me to leave it be. And I would.
