I mean it works pretty well, especially on Primal. Just that there isn’t a good video specific client. I really think video clients will need caching servers to be as smooth as traditional social media.

That last sentence 🤣 Uploading and posting works well enough. Building a catalog that’s organized and searchable doesn’t really exist on nostr and we need that.
Yep that’s the one thing that’s really missing. Everyone on TikTok seems to LOVE the for you page algorithm. I’ve noticed it doesn’t piss me off like X does
The TikTok algorithm is crazy/eerily good. The search is too. There are other cool features like being able to post/tag a video response to comments on your videos, and the ability reuse someone else’s audio to make your own version/meme of it. And the in-app video editing tools are incredible for a mobile app. It’s not like some existing nostr app dev is going to just be able to tack on these features. It would need to be its own full-fledged dedicated app.
