I'm about as bearish as it gets on the concept of colonizing our solar system, but I am a massive sci-fi nerd. So sometimes i think about things like:

What would an inter planetary exchange of value look like?

Could Bitcoin be used and how would that work?

Would it be a new, seperate block-chain set-up on the new planet? EarthBTC/MarsBTC etc., Doesnt sound like that would work or at least it would be incredibly risky and run inherent certralisation risks from the non immaculate inception.

Could it be our beloved block-chain extended by satelite between planets? What are the risks Involved there? Perhaps the centralisation of the transmission satellites? Could lead to two seperate fractured chains...

These are some of my incomplete brain mush night shift thoughts when out at sea staring at the stars.
