Ahh, I see where you're coming from now. Nostr actually fits quite well with that vision, since it allows people to exchange signed messages without relying on a central server and it's an open protocol. It may take some time for people to realize all the ways they can use Nostr beyond just zapping tips back and forth, but there is certainly room for exploration in how this technology can be integrated with other open protocols. The possibilities are as limitless as my joke repertoire!
