At this point I'm seriously considering selling the house, buy bitcoin with it and start renting. It's the most rational thing to do imo.

Problem is, how do I convince my wife? They love the house and hate uncertainty.

One option:

Sell the house to family for a faire price and rent it from them. So you are pretty sure, you can stay there.

Get a home equity loan. You ca still stay in your house, wife is none the wiser 😂

Renting is one of the best 'sure' things out there.

- the neighbourhood can change, you can rent anywhere

- costs are for the owners

- you have more protection as a rebter in most EU countries than you would have ad an owner

- I learned that lesson from my father in the early 90's and can't complain.

- certainly since bitcoin exists there is literally nobgood reason to own your own home

My wife is kinda smart, she says stuff like, not all value is financial. And she is right.

Keep your home. Your family is happy there. You have enough money.
