if you are going to speak then why not organize your thoughts ahead of time? that will be your slides. you don't need a ton.
organizing yourself ahead of time and having point form notes will keep it coherent.
That's my idea, but I'm mostly looking for inspiration :)

why look outside yourself?
mostly because I'm a developer and I think the majority of the audience will be normal people.
So I can't just talk about the tech
