It does look so similar! We have talked about that before. 🌄

I must make a trip to Patagonia! So beautiful. Good on you that you’re living a wild dream Homesteading in such a magnificent place.

Definitely, so worth the trip!

We are going for it here. The photos make it look glamorous (and it is pretty awesome) but we are seriously grinding to pull things together + work our remote jobs from starlink. When it's sunny it's good times, when it's raining things can get uncomfortable. Hahaha

Next year we are going to put some bees on the property, would you recomend these flow hives I'm seeing all over or is it best to go with a more traditional setup? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Flow Hives are great for the backyard beekeeper. If you plan on more honey production, it is not as viable , say, if you’re trying to sustain several wholesale accounts and farmers markets. It sounds as if it will be fine for your homestead. They are so cool!

They are expensive, but many folks sell them cheaper after tiring of them. Beekeeping requires an attentive beekeeper, despite how easy the flow hive it. There is always maintenance and issues with bee loss, etc. Just as with anything, there are unknowns that no one can plan for.
