Tech Help Needed 🛠️⚡: Diving deep into the world of #LightningNetwork with my #Umbrel and Lightning Core node setup, but hitting a snag.

Despite having 3,204 sats ready on my lightning node, every attempt to open a channel is met with a frustrating "Transaction output is dust" message.

Has anyone else faced this issue?

Looking for guidance from the #NodeRunners and #Bitcoin community on how to navigate past this obstacle.

Any advice or pointers on ensuring successful channel creation without this error popping up would be greatly appreciated.

Let's make the Lightning Network more robust, together!

You need to open a large channel. To do this, for example, you want to have over 2M sats on the on-chain wallet. Then you open a channel for 2M. The 2M on-chain becomes 2M Lightning plus the fees needed to complete the he on-chain transactions. Those sats are now permanently on Lightning until you close the channel. I wouldn't open a channel smaller than 2M. And you need several of them for the best experience. So, yes, your couple thousand is dust.

right I understand thanks good sire it appreciated
