NIP-94 is not enough. It should have been either NIP-95, where the image is stored on relays and can easily be moved around without changing its event id or NIP-96 where you send the same file to 10+ servers to be able to swap their urls if needed.

I vote (despite being a nostr newbie) to integrating ipfs.
