Hey, welcome to nostr!

One thing you’ll notice is that the devs are very communicative and responsive.

But they’re all working insanely hard, for little-to-no pay, so if you have feedback or a request it’s ideal to provide clarity/examples and ask nicely 🫂

Thanks for this. I meant no harm. Just noticed I couldn’t refresh. Truly appreciate the effort of the team.

💜🫂 feedback is always appreciated!

What were you trying to refresh? And which client are you using (Damus, amethyst, etc)?

I think it’s just habit from Twitter where I can refresh by dragging down my screen. I figured Nostr works different. And I’m using Damus.

Ah, yes, it’s a bit different. I believe the default is that new posts will load when your relays pick them up, so they come in real time (more or less)

Thank you very much. Loving it so far.

🫂🫂💜🤙

Thank you :)

Even though I use a bit of data analysis (and web scrapping) using python, have a decent knowledge about tech, and have sold AI SaaS solutions in the past, I consider myself illiterate when it comes to the development part of it.

Only thing I am good at is communicating clearly.

And to be honest I wasn’t expecting such a quick resolution. Thanks everyone :)

We’re glad to have you here!

Every month or two, there’s a catalyst that brings new users to Nostr. It’s awesome when you arrive and start exploring, because each one of us was trying to figure out this protocol at one time or another.

Welcome 🤙

I keep trying to check out new things. I heard about Nostr when Jack posted on Twitter about Apple now allowing zapping on iOS and immediately tried it out.

With current social media landscape being run on whims of a few, I think decentralisation is the future.

Got a reality check with this twitter rate limit

Whenever there’s an individual or company “in charge” of something many diverse groups of people use, there’s a risk of problems (small or large). Twitter is a great example!
