No, centralised, server farm networks supported by advertising revenue is what brought us Twitter and Facebook.

"Talk is cheap" is usually meant as a bit of a sneer but it's also something that needs to be kept true. It should be cosrless to engage in discourse. Injecting money into conversations is crass, and is a 'borrow' from the USA's revolting tipping culture.

Zapping incentivises ppl saying things to please audiences and will bring us all sorts of loathsome 'infuencers'.
