Curling is fun, my family went once. Sadly we couldn't join the league.
It's a good sport. Very laid back. Still very competitive.
I know, the club members were amazing. It was getting a little competitive cause the instructors could see we had a little knowledge and started pushing us a little harder to beat the other team.... It was literally an open house/give curling a try event.
Bad on the instructors.
Everyone was having fun, there was a definite competitive streak between them. They were teaching me about putting a spin on the stone when I released it.
I was trying to figure it out on my own, I was doing way too much spin and I had to much speed when I released it.
There was pizza and beer after with lots of laughs after.
