After working 16 hours almost every day this week I finally gave notice to my current company.
Even though I love my job as an #eventmanager more than anything, I’m simply not financially appreciated enough for my work. So I decided to become a freelancer working for myself and finally doing what I can do best !

The advice I was given when I made a similar decision was to have enough funds to last 6 months without an income. Then you don't have to accept the first opportunity that comes along.
You could also take a flexible low pay job 1 day a week to cover some expenses and still have 5 days left to develop your network.
It's hard work and I wish you well.
