Just had my first mammogram, I was not mentally well prepared.

Wait. What do you wish you’d known going into it? How old are we supposed to start getting them?
My reason for going was not my age. “They” recommend to start around 40, unless you feel any abnormalities.
My wife had a lump on her left breast that even I hadn't caught. And I play with those things all the time. It wasn't malignant and went away. 🫂🤞🫂

Health test are a big dose of realization that without good health nothing matters.
Health is wealth 💯💜🙏💫
Even with good health, nothing matters. Up until January I was really healthy. Then I woke up in the ICU, paralyzed from the neck down, spent 2 months on a ventilator. I died in mid-February. They got me back easily enough, but the trauma from that still lingers. Learned how to walk, talk, dress myself again for a month in an inpatient rehab hospital. I’m about as close to normal as I’ll ever be now, but the void is cold, dark, and empty.
Did you have any dreams? Or just the experience of waking up in a different time?
I’m so sorry to hear. 😞 Glad your still with us. 🙏💫 There’s a lot to be grateful for. 💜
Of course, even with good health we can have health issues and unfortunately events happen to our body’s. But it’s still good to try to strive to be healthy in the mind body and soul to the best of our ability.
