For the past five years, I have avoided using Google and Amazon. I removed WhatsApp from my phone, and I'm no longer active on Facebook, Instagram, X, or any other social media. I’m still alive 😅, meeting family and friends, able to find what I’m looking for, still earning money, and keeping up with the news.

I haven't experienced any downsides whatsoever by leaving all this behind and using Nostr as my one and only social media tool. On the contrary: with Nostr, I’m finally enjoying the internet again! I’m learning and discovering things that truly interest me, and I’m connecting with wonderful people from all over—all without the frustration of shadowbans, censorship, or paid hate trolls.
