I guess processing is up to interpretation. If you cut a watermelon you can argue you’re processing it. Where seed oils get a bad reputation is the added chemicals and bleaching of the oil. Also when heated and reheated you create more oxidation in the chemical compounds. Which is also why you need to be careful which oil/butter you cook with. Certain oils that are healthy like coconut, avocado, and olive oil (assuming cold pressed) are stable at various cooking temperatures. Also whiskey is definitely considered processed. I enjoy a few drinks here and there but I wouldn’t consider it healthy. Like most things, a little won’t kill you. But chronic use is where trouble happens.
