I switched to Android a couple years ago. Best phone decision ever. Got sick of the walled garden and ecosystem trap.
The hardware/software combo still makes the experience on Apple is 1000x better.
Walled garden definitely sucks but it's a game of tradeoffs.
Nah I've had a superior experience on Android since the switch. No updates that make my battery worse. No forced updates that turn off my network that left me stranded when I needed GPS. I can freely develop apps and not have to buy overpriced apple computers. I have actual control over my phone's file system. My music isn't held hostage on a proprietary music app like iTunes. I also get new features first. Apple is always playing catch up with Android.
It could really backfire on Apple’s sales going forward if users changed to an android phone because they want to carry on using Nostr unimpeded
