You might be right 🤷🏻‍♀️ It just never ceaaes to amaze me how well that marketing strategy worked with all kinds of non-scammy people (in addition to the scammers, which are prevalent in associating themselves with bitcoin as well) 🙃

I don't know if I believe this but I have often thought that Ethereum did bitcoin a service by serving as a lightning rod for scammers.

This is true in North America/Europe but less so in Africa/MidEast, where plenty of scammers pretend to offer access to bitcoin then swindle people without computer literacy 😔
