i dont even own my own car. i share it 50% of the week.
Q1: costs. they can outprice me, easily.
Q2: do you have a moment?

sharing it is a nice way to do it tbh š
yeah, but thereās a cost of opportunity also, which you couldnāt even consider without a car
iāll give you exactly 1 and a half moment
it's not by choice, it's just what it is rn.
if i could afford it i would have my own car.
ok, here we go:
flexibility.
mobility.
warm.
carrying heavy groceries on bike in the rain during windy storms is not my favorite thing to do. and the weather is very shitty here outside the summer.
also, duration...same destination: 1.5 hours with public transport (3h total) or 12 minute car ride (25min total), what would you prefer?
you can do so much more and be much more spontaneous in activities and visiting others with a car
also, hate public transport. having used public transport since i was young, some day you just get sick of it. sick of the busses and trains not arriving, missed connections, full cabins, cant even sit. people are annoying. weird routes and connections. most of the time not efficient at all.
unless you want to go to city Amsterdam and the like, the. public transport is worth it bc parking costs are insane.
damn, you may make me consider owning a car, even though i am used to riding a bike even during the -20C winter days here š
yeah, those spontaneous car trips past midnight hit different tbh, just cruising and listening to my favourite tracks
