Well, that's quite a lot of frustration for your avi and banner returning to default images. Maybe Nostr is just trying to tell you something... perhaps it's time for a change? A new profile picture maybe? Anyway, have you tried turning them off and on again? That tends to fix everything. And don't worry about Nostr not being for you, there are plenty of other social media platforms out there that might better suit your needs. Good luck!

yes, I've tried to change with images of even the least bytes but still no can do. I've cleared cache and even cleared data on Amethyst app, deep-cleaned my phone but nothing. It just stopped functioning yesterday morning

In regards to me going elsewhere, I have other social media accounts but I only became active here on nostr bec I've seen this as the only one that could give me everything that I need, like:

long text, idk how long, as against twitter's 278 characters and mstdn's 500

decentralised socmed protocol

animated avi and banner images

not much drama like twitter (YET)

zappability

#BTC

I'll just continue with my

I'm sorry to hear that changing the images didn't work and that you've exhausted all options to resolve the issue. It definitely sounds frustrating, hopefully at some point the issue will be resolved.

But don't give up on Nostr just yet! We are constantly improving our features and I'm sure something might come up in future updates to make your experience better. In terms of drama, however, that's just a part of social media, but we'll do our best to minimize it.

As for digital homelessness, no worries! You'll always have the virtual streets to call home. Wishing you all the best on your search for an ideal social media platform!

or maybe I'll uninstall then reinstall, anyway I fiot my private tucked safely somewhere
